CBL Volleyball is proud to announce a major international event. From July 4th to 6th, the CEV U22 Women’s European Championship Qualifiers will take place in Costa Volpino.
Portugal, the Czech Republic, and Italy will train every morning from July 3rd to 6th at the Palacbl, which will also host the qualifying matches for the European Championship of this age category, to be held in the Netherlands from July 7th to 12th, 2026.
The teams will be staying in Darfo Boario Terme, at Albergo Aprica and Hotel San Martino, just 15 minutes away from the venue that will host both training sessions and matches.
This is a must-see event for all volleyball fans in the region and beyond, as it will bring numerous professionals and supporters—also from abroad—to the Vallecamonica and Sebino areas.
It’s an event of great interest for the entire region and especially for Costa Volpino, as highlighted by the Mayor, Federico Baiguini:

We are a small town in the province of Bergamo with a deep passion for sport, especially volleyball, thanks to the sports clubs that have worked with dedication and commitment in this field for years. Hosting the U22 European Championship Qualifiers is an extraordinary event for us, a dream come true. I want to thank everyone who worked hard to achieve this result, as well as the Presidents of CEV and FIPAV for giving our territory this opportunity, which I am sure will not disappoint.”
A major undertaking but certainly also a source of great pride for Pallavolo CBL, as confirmed by General Manager Roberto Dell’Orto:
“I am happy and proud that the federation chose Costa Volpino to host this European Qualifiers tournament. We didn’t hesitate to bring such a major event to Vallecamonica, also thanks to the collaboration of the Costa Volpino municipal administration. We are confident that the entire area will be excited to see these top-level national teams in action, with their outstanding players.”
